Accomplishment 137/365: Shoes
Shot of my shoes and medal from Saturday’s race. As of this picture, these shoes have 489 miles running on them. I will top 500 miles partway through my Tuesday run. I typically get rid of shoes long before 500, but they’ve been really good. I’ve spent a lot of time with these shoes, the road, and my thoughts. My kids think these are my fast shoes!
Backlight was the setting sun, a reflector camera left provided the nice fill light.

To Keep Sane
Today I ran 10 miles. It snowed quite a bit last night and as the snow plow drivers and I aren’t getting along, I was stuck running indoors. 10 miles in one place is a long way to go. The iPod is what kept me somewhat sane.
