Having not felt well for a few days, I came home from work during lunch and crashed on the couch. I’m calling it. It’s over for today. I really wanted to get a picture of the US flag today of all days, but it isn’t going to happen…
16/365 Reflection
If there is anything I seem to have easy access to these days it is snow and frost. Today’s challenge was reflection. I captured this shot this morning as the sun was reflecting off the frost that had settled on a satellite dish at my place of employment.
After reading a few articles lately of thinking about your shots before you take them, I’ve determined to attempt to see how many of these challenge photos I can publish “first frame” style. This was a first frame.

I struggled to determine how I was going to capture a shot for today’s challenge. I suspect that the days when I lack inspiration and push through it are the days I grow.

Today’s subject was “Motion”. After doing this for Brinci once, guess what we spent the next 30 minutes doing for her again and for the other kids as well? We really needed Dave to come over and help out!

A Mother’s Love
Last night my son Gage was crying and my wife was trying to comfort him. I was in the process of getting a couple of photos of my other son Toby when I turned around and saw my wife. It amazes me just how much love someone can express with their body language. As I saw my wife holding Gage and soothing him I snapped the shutter.
