Mr. Bones Goes To Heaven
Early Morning 261/365: Automobile
The dew is starting to get heavier and heavier, we have had mornings of frost, but this wasn’t one of them. Fall is coming.
BTW, I’m just going to brag about my wife for a second, tomorrow morning (07/19) she’ll be running a marathon in Logan, UT. Go Min!
It’s My Night 260/365: Cooking
Gage
This kid is so hard to photo. He moves so much, but has so much fun.
My wife held the black side of a reflector to Gage’s right to add a bit of shadow and depth to the photo. It was processed using a variety of tools from Color Efex Pro. I absolutely love that software. Final sepia was done using a preset in Lightroom.
Approaching Storm
I decided to take and publish this photo due largely to it being an excuse to try out multi-photo stitching.
I’m admittedly not a major post processing guy, I do a little, but I don’t spend much time working at it. I have however, been very interested in panoramas. I decided to see how well freeware software would work. This is an example of a multi shot image stitched together using Hugin. I’m pretty impressed with its abilities in manual mode. I tried originally to follow the assistant and have it do it for me, but it didn’t turn out well at all.
Golden Circle 255/365: Fabric Macro
Today’s shot used my $6 shipped macro extension tubes. Pretty good bang for my buck.
While I had my macro extension tubes attached to my camera I decided to go for a black and white leaf. Unfortunately, it is really windy right now so my focus is somewhat suspect.
