Yes, it is 3:30pm on a Sunday and we are all in our pajamas.  Today’s challenge was to shoot up.  The sky looked nice, but I wanted to put a little something extra in the foreground so I had Brinci and Toby hop in the picture.  I took a few of both of them together, but Toby has such sensitive eyes that he spent the entire time squinting.  For that reason, I selected a photo without him in it today.

This was a pretty fun photo to shoot, the whole family came along and we enjoyed a nice sunset as I clicked away.  Afterwards, we all came home and voted on which shot was going to be published.

Today was especially appropriate for this theme.  We have a tradition in our home, we have what we refer to as “Meatless Monday” in which we eat no meat.  On this day we get our protein from other sources, but also eat a good deal of vegetables.

This is a staged photo, he isn’t an angry boy.  Last Halloween Toby dressed as Batman.  He figured Batman needed to look very angry at every door so he pulled his Batman face whenever someone answered.  It was actually very cute and we have him do it often because it is so against his character.
