Brinci
My beautiful daughter Brinci allowed me to take a portrait of her this morning. I was interested in trying out some directional natural lighting provided by a window in our house that doesn’t have direct sunlight coming in.
I think it turned out quite well.
Brinci is my oldest child and only daughter. Daughters, especially only daughters seem to have a special place in a Father’s heart, it doesn’t mean I love my sons any less, its just a different sort of feeling. I admit, I spoil her as anyone who knows me can attest.

How Do I Use The Timer… 79/365: Learning
Actually, I was reading about Mirror Lock Up. I wasn’t too pleased with the photo so I way over processed it just playing around.

Lunch Time – 76/365: Hand
One of the perks of my job is that I work .5 miles from my home. During lunch breaks, I can go home and eat with my family. My son Toby loves peanut butter and jam sandwiches. He calls them "peanut butter an sandwich". When he eats them, he takes them apart and licks all of the jam out of the middle, reassembles and eats the sandwich.
This is him preparing to eat his in his own unique way.
B&W Morning
I’ve not shot very much B&W lately during this challenge. B&W is definitely my favorite shooting form so to balance everything out, I shot some on my way to work. Not really a series as these photos aren’t related in any way, but I enjoyed them and the B&W processing.
Favorite Shirt – 75/365: Hem
This shirt has quite a bit of meaning to me.
First, it was my Wife’s late Grandpa’s shirt. He had amazing taste in his clothing and at his passing we were allowed to go through all of his shirts.
Second, due to Grandpa’s small stature, the shirt’s last button hole was well above my navel. I asked a good friend of mine to help me tailor this shirt so I could wear it. She added a button hold and modified the bottom of the shirt to fit for me. She did a great job and I probably wear this shirt too often if you ask my Wife.
I love it.
This is another shot using my extension tubes. For this shot, I didn’t use any of my spacers (I have 3) but only the two connecting ends. I love those things.
