Careful, Or I’ll Fall 184/365: Macro/Close-up
My 7 year old daughter looked at this picture and said "Wow, look at all that Bokeh!" I guess she’s been listening to my talk.
I shot this this morning using my extension tubes as I don’t have a macro lens. I used tube 1 and 2. For $8 shipped to me, I think I got my money’s worth out of these things.

It Tolls For Thee 182/365: Half
Strobist: Single flash above and camera right held by my lovely wife, snooted with a rolled-up newspaper. See, print journalism isn’t dead! Fired with CyberSync’s. Flash 1/32 power, the rest is in the EXIF.
180/365: Safety
My kids are very good at always wearing their helmets when they ride their bikes. I must admit, when I was a child, I didn’t. I’m not even sure they had them. That would have saved me quite a bit of pain.
174/365: Late
I had a tough time coming up with a good shot for this subject. In the end I decided to pull out the flash and see what I could do. I sure saw it looking a lot better in my head! Oh well, that’s how we learn I suppose.
Strobist: Single flash through an umbrella camera left.
173/365: Commute
I’m very lucky, I work .4 miles from my home. My commute is very minor, in fact, I can walk my commute in a matter of minutes. This is a view of the rush hour traffic that I only hit once I get on my street.
Kamas 163/365: Neon
I really like the town I live in. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to live here and interact with the wonderful people that also call it home.
Melts My Heart 161/365: Smile
Headshot of my daughter. It was hard to get this shot in the noon day sun, but we moved to the shade and used a silver reflector to fill in the shadows on her face. I picked this tree as a background because it creates nice bokeh dots.
It is Wednesday right?
